The Fitness And Sports Tour is the most diverse and exciting expo in the Pittsburgh Region!
All pre-registered athletes must bring a copy of this form to the Monroeville Convention Center Friday May 28th.  There is no charge for youth to compete. The event is hosted at the FAST Expo (www.thefastexpo.com).  All youth participants in the challenge receive free expo admission and compete at no charge.  Non-participants or spectators must purchase an expo pass.         

Friday May 28th 2010 Competition Starts @ 5:00 PM
All divisions are broken down by male & female and age groups. 
Kids may enter one division or do as many as they like...
SIT UPS:
Both feet flat on the ground and knees bent.  Palms of hands will be place behind the ears.  The athlete will raise up and touch both elbows to the knees an the back touching both shoulder blades to the ground. 
CHIN UPS: 
Grab the bar overhead with a reverse grip (shoulder width apart in a full stretched out position)  The athlete must touch the chin to the bar and must come back down into a full stretch at the bottom.   
PUSH UPS:
Palms of hands must be placed on floor, with arms away from the body (not tucked into the sides). Repetition will be deemed complete when the upper arm and the forearm form a right angle at the elbow
JUMP ROPE:
Most continuous number of jumps/reps without stopping. 
If a student misses, the count must start over. 

1st-3rd Place will be awarded in each division and category.

Overall
Grand Champions
will also be awarded.

9- under years of age

Kumite International and The Western PA Police Ahtletic League are dedicated to promoting healthy active lifestyles in the Pittsburgh Region through athletics. The challenge is paving the way for physically fit youth,  bringing national awareness to many health related concerns and issues including the growing problem of childhood obesity!  The Challenge encourages youth to be determined and goal oriented towards healthy choices.

The Kidz Physical Fitness Challenge is a FREE event for elementary, middle school and high school youth.  It is a partnership program sponsored by Kumite International and The Western PA Police Athletic League.
